Lexicon for Clonal Hematopoiesis in Liquid Biopsy
Clonal hematopoiesis (CH) has historically been viewed as a confounder in cell-free DNA testing, but growing evidence highlights its broader relevance to health and liquid biopsy diagnostics. To address ongoing gaps in standardization, the BLOODPAC Consortium established the CH/CHIP Working Group in 2024. As an initial effort, the group developed a standardized lexicon to harmonize terminology related to CH, liquid biopsy, sequencing tests, biomarkers, and clinical use cases. This shared vocabulary aims to improve communication across stakeholders and support consistent data interpretation and collection across studies. Read the full publication here.
