Collaborating to Compete: Blood Profiling Atlas in Cancer (BloodPAC) Consortium

This publication introduces the Blood Profiling Atlas in Cancer (BLOODPAC), a collaborative public–private partnership established to accelerate the development and validation of blood-based cancer biomarkers. The paper outlines the need for standardized data sharing, harmonized methodologies, and cross-sector collaboration to enable the clinical adoption of liquid biopsy approaches. By creating a centralized data commons and fostering consensus-driven frameworks, BLOODPAC aims to advance the reliability, reproducibility, and regulatory acceptance of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and other blood-based assays in oncology.
