BLOODPAC’s Collaborations with European Union Liquid Biopsy Initiatives
BLOODPAC’s Global Regulatory Working Group has had its article, “BLOODPAC's Collaborations with European Union Liquid Biopsy Initiatives,” accepted for publication in the Journal of Liquid Biopsy.
This publication represents an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to advance the field of liquid biopsy and make these innovative technologies more widely available to patients. The article explores the critical challenges that currently limit access to liquid biopsy worldwide—including regulatory complexity, data standardization, and cross-border harmonization—and puts forward proposed solutions to help overcome these barriers. By outlining a pathway for more effective collaboration between the U.S. and the European Union, the piece emphasizes the importance of international partnerships in accelerating adoption of liquid biopsy in clinical care.
Building on this momentum, the Global Regulatory Working Group will convene leaders in the field for a dinner in Berlin this October, held in parallel with the ESMO Congress 2025. This gathering will continue the conversation around global regulatory alignment, with a particular focus on strengthening EU collaborations and identifying actionable next steps to expand patient access to these life-changing technologies.
